Bill Baker

For over twenty-two years, Bill has been helping brands—and the people and organizations behind them—work smarter. More specifically, Bill and his team work with clients all over the world to help them uncover the unique story of their organization or brand, define a strategic vision of its future and then use both to align, inspire and unlock the human energy that will be needed to make that vision real.

An American by birth, a nationalized Canadian by choice, Bill has spent the last 13 years living in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to his move to Canada, Bill spent the first 10 years of his career working in New York City managing global accounts for large multinational agencies such as Grey and Saatchi & Saatchi. Upon moving to Vancouver, Bill worked at the Vancouver office of Cossette. He later moved to DDB, where he became part of the Global Planning Group of DDB Worldwide and managed the Vancouver office of this multinational agency. Before starting his own company, Bill served for four years as the Chief Strategic Officer of Envisioning + Storytelling. Bill is a regular presence on the public speaking circuit, providing his perspective to a wide variety of conferences and symposiums. Bill is also a regular teacher at GE’s worldwide learning campus in Crotonville, New York, where he helps that company’s top global managers use storytelling to be better communicators and leaders.

There is barely a category of industry that Bill and his team have not worked in, having collaborated with respected clients of all shapes and sizes, including Procter & Gamble, TELUS, Relais & Châteaux, the BC Egg Marketing Board, Johnson & Johnson, The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, Cadillac Fairview, UBC and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. Through his work, BB&Co has had the opportunity to regularly collaborate with some of the brightest minds the global and Vancouver marketplaces have to offer. Their international network of talent ensures they are always able to activate the perfect strategic and creative resources to tackle any opportunity.
